Original Old Bay Crab Cakes


°2 slices of dry bread, crusts removed
°1 tbsp. Milk
°1 tablespoon mayonnaise
°1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
°1 tablespoon parsley flakes
°1 tablespoon baking powder
°1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
°1/4 tsp salt
°1 egg, beaten
°1 pound crabmeat in pieces
°vegetable oil


In a bowl, spoil the bread into small pieces. Moisten with milk.
Add mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, baking powder, Old Bay, salt, egg and crabmeat. Mix gently and shape four patties. Refrigerate patties for half-hour to assist them preserve collectively at the same time as cooking. Fill your skillet with approximately 1/four″ of vegetable oil.
