Fried mushrooms


°10 ounces whole fresh mushrooms
°1 cup flour
°½ cup cornstarch
°¾ teaspoon baking powder
°¼ tsp salt
°1 cup water
°2 c breadcrumbs 


Step 1: In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cornstarch and salt. Adding water & mixing to smooth paste form. Dip mushrooms in batter and coat evenly. Allow excess batter to drip off.
Step 2: Roll mushrooms in breadcrumbs until well coated. Repeat to all mushrooms are coat.
Step 3: Heat the fryer to 365 degrees. Fry the mushrooms in batches until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
