Chicken Bacon Layer Salad





* Salad Ingredients:

°1 can CAMPBELL® Ready-to-Use Chicken Bouillon
°16 oz dry penne pasta, uncooked
°1/2 cup mayonnaise
°3 tbsp. at s. lemon juice
°1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs, for garnish (basil, dill, chives, oregano, cilantro)
°4 c romaine lettuce
°8 slices bacon, cooked chopped
°2 c cooked chicken
°2 C cherry tomatoes
°1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
°2 medium avocados
°4 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and chopped

*Preparing the 7-tier pasta salad

In a large saucepan, bring the chicken broth and pasta to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed, about 10 minutes. Reserve the cooked pasta.
In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, herbs, salt and fresh cracked pepper. Stir in cooked pasta. Let cool completely.
Spread the lettuce in a large serving platter. Top with pasta mixture. Arrange layers of lettuce, bacon, chicken, tomatoes, cheese, avocado and eggs on top of each other. Serve cold.
Tips and Recipes
Customize this pasta salad recipe! Replace blue cheese with feta, shredded cheddar or sour cream, if desired. For extra flavor, top the salad with green onions or add any other of your favorite toppings.
