Fried onions are a specialty that can be found in many gastronomy such as US, Middle Eastern, or within Creole cuisine.

*Ingredients :

° 4 large Yukon Gold potatoes.
° 1 large onion, sliced ​​into rings.
° 1 teaspoon butter.
° 1 teaspoon olive oil.
° Half  tsp garlic powder.
° A pinch of dill (or the herb of your choice).
° Pinch of salt and pepper.

* Preparation:

1. Start by peeling the potatoes. Cut it into thin slices.
2. Do the same with onions.
3. In  skillet & on heat, melting butter also pour in olive oil.
4. Putting potato rings & onion rings in pan.
5. Cover pan &; frying for 10 min .
6. After 10 min have passed, flip potato & onion tranches on with wooden spoon so they don't break. If potatoes seem too dried
7. Sprinkling potatoe with garlic powder, pepper, then fry for another 5 minutes, covering the pan again.
8. Submit immediately.
