Epic Beef Nachos Supreme


favourite toppings to few epic Nachos Supreme really is so better than Taco Bell!No one complains when I cook their portions of the Perfect Baked Beef Nachos Recipe!

+Supreme nachos
°1 tablespoon olive oil (extra virgin)
°1 medium white onion (cut into cubes)
°1 tablespoon garlic (chopped)
°1 pound ground beef (recommended to use lean ground beef)
°4 ounces diced green peppers (1 4-ounce can, drained)
°1 taco season mix (or use 1 can of seasoning mix)
°15 ounces dried beans (optional - 15-ounce can)
°17-18 ounces tortillas (larger bag of tortilla chips)
°¼ cup nacho cheese sauce
°1/2 cup of Mexican cheese mix
+nachos
°chopped tomato
°Spiced Jalapeno
°Avocado cubes
°chopped coriander
°Cream or sour cream
°chopped green onion
°chopped olives
°pico de gallo

* Directions :

  Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C) and line a large rimmed baking tray with aluminum foil to clean it easily, if desired.
In a large skillet or nonstick skillet, heat the olive oil over a medium to high heat. Once it shimmers and starts smoking, add the chopped white onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Onions should become fragrant, soft and translucent. Adding 1 tsp of mince garlic & sauté with onion for 30 sec to 1 min.

Add 1 pound ground beef, separated and brown until almost completely browned, or about 5-6 minutes. Add taco seasoning and toss with ground beef. Add water as directed on your package (or use ½ cup of water with your homemade taco seasoning mix). Add the refried beans, ground beef, and taco seasoning. Cook until the beans are hot.

Spread tortilla chips as a base, then top with 1 cup nacho cheese sauce (microwave before you pour the chips), beef-bean mixture, and 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese mixture.  

Bake at 425°F (218°C) for 15 minutes or until cheese is completely melted and slightly browned.
Removing to oven and add your favourite toppings, & serving directly .
