Chicken Bombs

The little chicken and bacon bombs on the BBQ (Very good!)

* Ingredients :

° 5 boneless chicken breasts or 10 fillets
° 5 jalapeño peppers, seed removed and cut lengthwise
° 1/2 cup (125 mL) softened cream cheese (Philadelphia style) 1 cup (250 mL) grated cheddar cheese
° Salt and pepper
° 20 slices of bacon
° 1 cup (250 mL) barbecue sauce

* Preperation :

If using chicken breasts, cut them lengthwise to make thin fillets. Each net will make a bomb. Place the fillets between two parchment papers and press down with your fists to thin them until they are about 1/4 inch thick. Season with salt and pepper. Wash the jalapeños well, cut lengthwise and remove the seeds. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese with the grated cheddar cheese. Fill each jalapeño half with about 1 tbsp of the cheese mixture. Place the jalapeño on the chicken fillet (the cheese side on the chicken) and roll up well. Roll two slices of bacon over the chicken. You can use toothpicks, but sealing the bacon in the chicken properly should hold. Preheat your barbecue to 350 ° F (175 ° C). Brush the bombs with BBQ sauce. Bake for 25 minutes to 30 minutes, putting the bombs on a grill that is not on (indirect heat). Turn the bombs every 5 minutes and brush well with BBQ sauce each time. Check that the chicken is well cooked and eat

Enjoy !
