*Cheddar-Cheese-Biscuits*


It only takes moments to prepare a batch of homemade cheddar cheese biscuits. Why don't we make them today!

* Ingredients :

(makes 12)
° 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
° 4 teaspoons baking powder
° 1 tsp granulated sugar
° 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
° 1/2 teaspoon salt
° 1/4 c butter cut to cubes
° 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
° 1 cup milk

* Directions  :

Heat oven 425 F .
Put a butter paper on an oven tray and grease it with a little butter.
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, chopped parsley, and salt.
Use either 2 butter knives or a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the flour mixture to create a crumbly texture.
Adding cheese & stirring with  wooden spoon.
Add the milk and use a fork to mix until you get a moist, coarse dough mixture.
Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, drop biscuits onto prepared pan 1 1/2 inches apart.
Place in the preheated oven and bake for 13-15 minutes, until lightly browned.
We take it out of the oven.
The biscuits are absolutely delicious served warm and fresh from the oven.
