Slow-Cooker-Ham & Potato-Soup

A delicious potato and ham soup meal (Very easy to make!)

* Ingredients :

° 2 lb (0.9 kg) Russet potatoes, cubed
° 1 tablespoon of olive oil
° 1 stalk of celery, diced
° 1 small yellow onion, diced
° 1 can of corn 314 ml
° 3 garlic cloves, minced
° 4 cups (1000 mL) vegetable broth
° 2 cups (500 mL) milk
° 1 and a half tablespoon cornstarch 0.5 lb (0.22 kg) ham cut into small pieces

* Preperation :

Soak the potatoes in a bowl of cold water and set aside. Whisk the milk and cornstarch together and set aside. In  pot, heat olive oil on medium high heat. Add the onion and celery pieces and cook for about 5 minutes. Adding garlic & cooking for 1 minute. Drain the potatoes and transfer to the pot. Add the vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer for 15 minutes. Add the milk mixture and mix well. Add corn and ham and simmer for another 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
