Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls

These Swedish cinnamon buns are absolutely delicious. Make them happen, you won't regret it. To consume at breakfast or as a snack!

=> For the dough:

° 75 g of soft butter
° 250 ml of milk
° 25 g fresh baker's yeast
° 1/4 teaspoon of salt
° 1 teaspoon of cardamom
° 100 g caster sugar (0.75 dl)
° 460 g flour (6.5 dl)
=> For the stuffing:
° 50 g butter
° 50 g sugar
° 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
° granulated sugar

* Preperation :

Put the fresh yeast in a little milk taken from the 250 ml. Then mix all the dough ingredients and knead ((by hand, in a food processor, or in a bread maker) until you get a soft and elastic dough. Then let rise at room temperature for about 2 hours (or until that the dough doubles in volume).

Melt the butter. Mix it with the sugar and cinnamon. Cut the dough into 2 pieces of the same weight and roll out each piece so as to obtain a rectangle. Spread each rectangle with the sugar, butter and cinnamon-based preparation, then roll the dough as in the photos below:

Then cut slices about 3 cm thick from each roll. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let rise again until the kanelbullars double in size (about 30 minutes).

Preheat your oven to 190 ° C. Sprinkle your Kanelbullar with granulated sugar and bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Then leave to cool on a wire rack.
